With 22 years of financial planning and wealth management expertise, Rob is the founder of Rise Wealth and Legacy Planning at Raymond James Ltd. Rob’s focus is on providing strategic direction and comprehensive advice on advanced financial, retirement, estate & tax planning solutions. His breadth of experience and personal commitment helps to build strong and enduring client relationships. In addition to providing detailed strategy and direction, Rob brings together a team of partners within the firm and the community to work with our clients’ existing centres of influence.

Rob is a graduate of the BCIT Financial Management Program (Financial Planning), and he continues to be committed to ongoing education within the industry. He is also well-known in our community for this commitment through seminars, roundtables and workshops. Rob prides himself on a collaborative and innovative approach, working with experts in various fields, and embracing new technologies and strategies, all to enhance and optimize the client experience. 

Rob grew up in Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan, and he has lived in Abbotsford for the past 25 years. He is happily married to Andrea, and is a proud father to two wonderful kids.

Rob is passionate about giving back to our community, and he focuses his volunteer time on trying to make a difference in the lives of children. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Abbotsford Youth Commission and the Business and Science Advisory Panel of the Rick Hansen School of Business and Science. He has previously served as the Vice–President of the Abbotsford Minor Baseball Executive and the Treasurer of the United Way of the Fraser Valley Board of Directors (as well as the Campaign Chair of their annual fundraising campaign). He has been active through coaching for the past 11 years with Abbotsford Minor Baseball, Hockey, Soccer and School Volleyball. He also volunteers at Christmas with the Central Abbotsford Community School and Strong Start Pre-Schools.
